Shivanth (7.5 pts-21 progressive score) and Hemadri Satish (6pts-18 progressive score) bagged the top honours by clinching the U-13 Open and U-13 girls titles respectively in the Mysuru District U-7, U-9, U-13 chess tournament conducted by Mysore Chess centre & GSS Institutions recently in city.

The top two place winners in U-13 Open, Girls, U-7 & U-9 (boys & girls) will represent the Mysuru district in the Karnataka State u-7, U-9, U-13 chess championships to be held at Mysuru during June 2017. The prizes to winners were given away by Sri Hari, Founder, GSS Foundation, Dr. Manjunath, BJP City President, Harsha and M. Nagendra (Vice-President of United Karnataka Chess Association).
