Shreshta 2K25: State-level IT, Management and Sports Fest at Seshadripuram College

Mysuru: Seshadripuram Degree College, Mysuru, in collaboration with the IQAC, IIC, Department of Computer Science, Commerce and Management, NSS, NCC, Sports and Kala Srishti, had organised a State-level IT,  Management, Cultural and Sports Fest at the College seminar hall in city recently.

The event was inaugurated by Aradhana Bhat, a renowned Kannada film artiste, who was the chief guest. In her address, Aradhana encouraged them to participate and appreciated their enthusiasm and talent.

Agnipath – The Drill Competition was inaugurated by watering a plant by the guest of honour Lt. Col. Y.K. Sanjeev, Administrative Officer, 13 Kar BN, Mysuru.

Delivering an inspiring address, Lt. Col. Sanjeev motivated the NCC cadets and NSS volunteers with his words of wisdom and leadership experiences.

The fest unfolded with thirteen dynamic events, witnessing participation from around 46 colleges across Karnataka. The prize distribution ceremony was held during the valedictory function at the college seminar hall.

The winners of the individual events are: Code Fusion – St. Joseph First Grade College, Mysuru; Thinkify – Vidya Vikas First Grade College, Mysuru; Treasure Hunt – St. Joseph’s First Grade College, Mysuru; UI/UX Designing – Sapient College, Mysuru; Best Manager – Niharika of GSSS College, Mysuru; HR Event – MMK & SDM College, Mysuru; Finance Event – Vidyavardhaka First Grade College, Mysuru; Marketing Event – De Paul College, Mysuru; Solo Singing – Sagar of Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru; Duet Singing – Sagar and Priyanka of Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru; Solo Dance – Ganavi of Vidyavardhaka First Grade College, Mysuru; Cricket – Vidya Vikas College, Mysuru; NSS Drill – Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru; NCC Drill – Bharathi College, Mandya and Videography – H.J. Deekshith of Sapient College, Mysuru.

The Overall Championship in IT Events was bagged by St. Joseph’s First Grade College while the Overall Championship in Management Events was secured by Vidyavardhaka First Grade College.

Dr. K. Sowmya Erappa, Principal; N. Archana Swamy, Principal of SIPUC, Shreedevi N. Prabhu and S. Arun, IT and Management fest coordinators, Student Council members, staff, students and others were present.
