Siddaiah (76), popularly known as ‘Secretary Siddappa’ and a resident of Gundurao Nagar, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his son Mahesh, a BJP leader, daughter Veena Kumari and a host of relatives and friends.

Siddaiah had served as the Manager of Co-operative Banks at Bannikuppe in Hunsur, Kempisiddanahundi, Hadinaru, Nagarle and Kudlapura in Nanjangud taluk. He was at present serving as the Special Officer at Bhuvaneshwari Credit Co-operative Society in Mysuru.

Last rites were performed at his native place Sowdenahalli in Mandya district today.
