Actors ‘Duniya’ Vijay and ‘Loose Mada’ Yogeesh join former CM on second day of canvassing
Mysore/Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has continued to campaign for the second conse-cutive day at Varuna Assembly Constituency today, by taking out a road show in the company of actress Nishvika Naidu and Congress leaders.
They were joined by film stars ‘Duniya’ Vijay and ‘Loose Mada’ Yogeesh, lending a star touch to the hustings, that began with the entry of actors Shivarajkumar and Ramya yesterday.
Siddharamaiah, who began his road show this morning from Chikkahalli, was welcomed by the frenzy villagers with a huge garland made of roses.
Addressing the villagers, Siddharamaiah recalled his previous stint as a Chief Minister, when he gave corruption-free Government and safeguarded the interests of dalits, downtrodden and farmers, fulfilling the promises made to the people.
Launching a tirade against BJP for mocking at several Bhagya schemes introduced by him and also Indira Canteens, Siddharamaiah said now they are indulging in fomenting trouble in Varuna Constituency and creating a rift among castes in the name of hiking quota of reservation. We will return to power for sure in the State and will implement all the promises made in the manifesto, he assured.
