Former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, who took a holiday break, went on a boat safari at Kabini Backwaters yesterday morning. He was accompanied by MLAs H.P. Manjunath and Anil Chikkamadu among others. During the boat safari, the former CM sighted a few migratory birds such as Bar-headed Geese.
A guide present during the boat safari explained about the flora and fauna at the backwaters.
Picture above shows Siddharamaiah enjoying the sunset at a private resort in H.D. Kote. Siddu also went on a safari inside the forest on Monday evening during which he sighted two tigers and a elephant herd, it is learnt.
