Siddu holds talks with DKS

Bengalur:  Minutes after he was discharged from a hospital here last night where he was undergoing treatment for suspected food poisoning for the past couple of days, Water Resources Minister D.K. Shivakumar visited former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah at the latter’s residence here and discussed the latest political developments, with  reports on the opposition BJP making repeated attempts to lure legislators from the Congress and JD(S).

During the course of the meeting, which was reportedly held in the presence of KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao, Siddharamaiah is said to have ‘Educated’ Shivakumar on ‘Soft Politics’

Advising DKS against interfering in Belagavi politics, which has miffed Jarkiholi brothers, Siddu is said to have cautioned the powerful water Resources Minister on meddling in politics of other regions, which has given rise to dissension in the party.

At the meeting, the former CM is said to have asked DKS to draw curtains on internal dissensions in the Congress as reports on acts by some Congressmen has been hurting the party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
