Mysore/Mysuru: With Gram Panchayat (GP) polls round the corner, Opposition leader and former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will address ‘Gram Adhikaar’ convention of Chamundeshwari Assembly segment Congress Party workers in the city tomorrow (Dec.18).

Addressing party workers at  Congress Bhavan near the City Railway Station here yesterday, former ZP President K.Marigowda said that Siddharamaiah will inaugurate the convention at the ground near Kalabyraveshwara Kalyana Mantapa in Aravindanagar at 11 am on Dec.18. 

Pointing out that the convention will be a show of strength of the Congress ahead of GP polls, he said that the party workers should educate the rural masses on the welfare programmes for the poor such as Anna Bhagya and Ksheera Bhagya, initiated by the Congress Government headed by Siddharamaiah.
