Siddu (68), a resident of Chamalapura Street in the town, passed away yesterday night following a heart attack.
He leaves behind his wife, three sons including Mahadev, a journalist and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Linga Bhattara Gudi Burial Grounds this afternoon.
