Siddu’s Durbar at his residence

A scene on the terrace of CM Siddharamaiah’s residence in city this morning.

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah held a durbar on the second floor terrace of his house in city this morning. Hundreds of people had crowded with their petitions and requests. He spent about 20 minutes with the people and then he left the house on another urgent engagement at Anekal by aircraft.

The Chief Minister’s meeting with the officers that was scheduled was cancelled.

His closest aide K. Marigowda had come with hundreds of people from Harohalli village in Jayapura Hobli to discuss about the murder of a person which had taken a political turn. Even as the Police tried to stop them, Marigowda brushed them aside telling, “They are our voters and do not stop them.”

He then took his followers to the terrace of the house where the CM came to meet them. The CM asked SP Ravi D. Channannavar to discuss about it and take appropriate action.

There were nearly 150 to 200 people who had come with their applications which Siddharamaiah received outside his house.

He later addressed a press conference where he spoke about journalist Ravi Belagere’s arrest and said that the law will take its own course. He was confident of  Congress winning the election in Gujarat.
