Sign board near Hunsur road leads to confusion

Sir,

Recently, Mysuru City Cor-poration (MCC) erected a sign board indicating the direction on Hunsur Road about 200 metres after  the junction of Temple Road and Hunsur Road, ahead of  St. Joseph’s School,  proclaiming that the next road to the left hand side is “Temple Road”.

I fail to comprehend the com-placent and irresponsible attitude of the MCC officials concerned in erecting such a board to confuse the people looking for Temple Road and Gokulam Road.

This road  indicator should  have been erected before the deviation to the Temple                                    Road. Ideal spot to erect this sign board would have been  near  the  petrol bunk  and definitely not at a spot after the Temple Road deviation.

Now, having erected this sign board, the least MCC can do is to change “Temple Road” to “Gokulam Road” and save the public from confusion while searching for Temple Road and Gokulam Road.
