Silk India exhibition in city from Oct. 18 to 27

Mysuru: To brighten up Deepavali celebrations, ‘Silk India’ is launching a grand sale of various types of silk sarees at reasonable prices in city. A vast array of colours and high-quality silk sarees will be on display at the exhibition to be held at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road, Mysuru. The expo will be open from Oct. 18 to 27 between 10.30 am and 8.30 pm.

Silk producers and designers from regions like Kashmir to Kanchipuram, along with Silk Co-operative Societies, will be showcasing and selling their State’s traditional silk sarees and products. It’s not just silk sarees, handwoven cotton sarees and other items will also be on display. From West Bengal’s cotton sarees to a range of jewellery, including silver, kundan, meenakari, handwoven fabrics and much more, the collection is sure to draw the attention of women everywhere.
