Six-day training programme on export management begins

Mysuru: Visveswaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC), District Industries Centre (DIC), Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and all Industrial Associations of district together have organised a six-day training programme on export management which commenced yesterday at Institution of Engineers on JLB Road here.

Inaugurating the programme, MLA and Mysore Industries Association President Vasu said that the training programme would encourage export of products by providing necessary tips. He contended that a good industrial production and export indicate the development of a nation.

Presiding over the programme, S. Sudhakar Shetty, Senior Vice-President, Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) said that it was essential to promote industrial growth by providing all requisite infrastructure and financial aid to industries. He called upon entrepreneurs to acquire complete knowledge of exports and laws of that business.

VTPC Managing Director M. Prabhu, DIC Joint Director H. Ramakrishnegowda, MCCI President A.S. Satish, Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (HIEMA) President N.H. Jayanth, Institution of Engineers, Mysore Local Centre Chairman M. Chinnaswamy and others were present.
