Making use of the facility, City Police have evinced interest in providing the Smart Card to its personnel to maintain their health and the same can be used at nursing homes and hospitals.
More than 4,000 patients have already been using the same for the treatment.
The card is developed by one N. Niranjan Swamy, an MBA Graduate from Salem University in Tamil Nadu, who did research on ‘Administration at Hospitals’ at his Behanden Medcare Solutions Pvt. Ltd. two years ago using a mobile App ‘Medapp.’
More 5,000 peoples and 400 doctors are already using the card.

It was at this juncture that the MBA researcher, thought of inventing such a Smart Card and accomplished his mission.
The Smart Card issued to a patient will have all the personal details like his/her name, address, medical history and details of treatment and drugs taken.
The card will also contain Quick Response Code (QR), which can be gone through a scanner and help doctors to treat the patient.
Usage: Those intending to get the Smart Card should provide their name, address, details of serious ailments for which they had been treatment in the recent past which would be uploaded on the Smart Card to be given to them.
