Hunsur: A woman farmer, who was harvesting ragi crops in her field, died after being bitten by a snake on Monday evening.
The deceased is Sannamma (58), wife of Krishnegowda and a resident of Habbanakuppe village in the taluk.
Sannamma’s son Manju rushed her to Hunsur General Hospital, where she succumbed to the snake bite. Post-mortem was conducted at the hospital and the body was handed over to the family members.
