Sobane Manchamma (85), mother of senior folk artiste Malavalli M. Mahadevaswamy, passed away on Tuesday at a private hospital in Bengaluru following brief illness.
She leaves behind five sons and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Krishnapura in Malavalli today.
