Mysuru: To harness green and clean renewable energy sources, a grid-connected roof-top solar photovoltaic system has been set up at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Gokulam.
The solar panels can generate a power of 170kWp.
Unveiling this initiative, the College Management has made a commitment to sustainability and green campus.
The initiative was inaugurated by Gundappa Gowda, President of Vidyavardhaka Sangha.
P Vishwanath, Secretary, S.N. Lakshminarayana, Treasurer, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal and EEE HoD Dr. Shobha Shankar and others were present.
