Mysuru: A six-day painting expo by artist B. Kiran Kumar has been organised at Sri Kalanikethana School of Art, CA-15, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, from tomorrow. The expo will be open from 11 am to 6 pm till Sept.22.
Former Minister G.T. Devegowda will inaugurate the expo at 11.30 am tomorrow (Sept.17). Retd. Director of Kannada and Culture Department M.G. Sadanandaiah will preside. Sri Kalanikethana School of Art Principal K.C. Mahadevashetty will deliver the keynote address.
MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, CAVA lecturer Dr. Lakshman Singh Rathod and social worker Puttaswamy will be the chief guests.
Senior artists C. Chikkanna, Parameshwara, Vittalaraddi Chulaki, Mallikarjuna, Vyjayanti, S.C. Mahadeva and M. Mahadev will be felicitated on the occasion. The artist can be contacted on Mob: 83109-14083.
