Somanayaka (62), retired Sericulture Department employee and a resident of Hirikyathanahalli village, passed away yesterday evening at the village.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land in the village this noon.
