Son lodges missing complaint of his father who went missing 17 years ago

Mysuru: A son has lodged a complaint at Saraswathipuram Police Station about his father going missing 17 years ago.

The missing person has been identified as C.N. Keshavamurthy, retired HoD of Hindi at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and a resident of Saraswathipuram 14th Main here.

According to the complaint lodged by C.K. Keshavachandra, his father Keshavamurthy was 62, when he went for a pilgrimage to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Sept.15, 2000 and has since gone missing. He is 5.5 ft. tall, normal built, oily-red complexioned and speaks Kannada, Hindi and English.

Keshavachandra has also mentioned that his father had written a letter from Varanasi stating that he had embraced Sainthood and dissuaded any attempt to look for him. Moreover he had himself promised to come back after sometime to settle property issues, Keshavachandra added.
