Sonia Gandhi admitted to hospital in Delhi

New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to a hospital in Delhi on Sunday. The 73-year-old leader is being treated for fever and breathing issues, according to reports from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.

Her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were also at the hospital, reports said, adding the Congress chief was admitted to the hospital near central Delhi at 7 pm. The Congress chief has undergone some tests that require hospital admission.

According to sources, the hospital has said it is a routine check-up and the hospital is expected to release a medical bulletin on her health today evening. Sonia Gandhi has not been keeping well for the last two days and she did not attend the Budget presentation in Lok Sabha on Saturday.
