Soulful divine music at Sadvidya

Mysuru: Sri Ramotsava celebrations were held for three days in Sadvidya Educational Institutions (SVEI), Narayan Shastri Road, Mysuru, under the auspices of Sri Veeranjaneya Trust recently.

On Day-1, Kavya Vachana of Sundarakanda from Thorave Ramayana was rendered by Karnataka Kalashree K.R. Ramachandra and with an insightful Vyakhyana by Dr. Jyothishankar. On Day-2, a Dasavani programme was performed by Sri Uppunda Rajesh Padiyar and C.S. Vedashree. On the final day, a Karnatak Music Concert by Vidwan Dr. R.K. Padmanabha captivated the audience with  his soulful divine music.

He was accompanied by Vid. C.N. Chandrashekar on violin, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. Ramanujam on morching.

On all the days, SVEI President Prof. M.S.K. Narahari Babu, Secretary M.D. Gopinath, Vice-President S. Balaji, Joint Secretary K.N. Phaneesh, Chairman – Cultural Committee K. Raghuram and MC Members C.R. Nagaraj and R.S. Prasanna, honoured the artistes. The programme  was followed by distribution of prasada to the audience.
