Mysuru lad Rahul Nayak, representing Karnataka in the South Zone Junior Athletic Championship-2019 which concluded at Udupi on Sunday, won gold in the Boys U-16 800m event with a timing of 1.58s.

Mysuru’s Brunda S. Gowda of DYES, representing Karnataka, won gold in the Girls U-16 Shot-Put event.

Mourya Ganapathy and Likitha Yogesh won silver in the Boys and Girls U-16 Shot-Put event respectively while Damodhar won bronze in U-20 Steeplechase event.
