Mysuru lad Manush, representing Karnataka in the 30th South Zone Junior Athletic Championships-2018 held at Acharaya Nagurjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday won Gold Medal in the U-20 Boys Shot-put event with a throw of 17.34m. Another Mysuru girl, Brunda S. Gowda, representing Karnataka, won Silver Medal in the Girls U-16 Shot-put event with a throw of 12.34m.
