This morning, the SP briefed IGP (Southern Range) Dr. M.B. Boralingaiah and other officers about the traffic flow, parking arrangements, event security, entry and exit points and other measures taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the mega event.
Security arrangements include seven KSRP squads, 15 District Armed Reserve (DAR) teams, four Quick Response Teams (QRTs), four drone cameras and 100 CCTV cameras. Separate entry and parking arrangements have been made for artistes, VIPs and the public, with lighting and signboards to guide visitors.
Around 100 food stalls will be set up at the venue, which has seating for 15,000 spectators. Standing areas have also been earmarked, while LED screens and sound systems will help those seated farther from the stage watch the performances.
Entry is free. Separate galleries have been provided for VIPs, media personnel, judges, sponsors and committee members. To ease the movement of visitors, 25 buses will operate between designated points and the venue. Bus services will continue after the programmes end at 10.30 pm each day.
