Mysore/Mysuru: To encourage men and women farmers of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts, Sundaramma Duggahatti Veerabhadrappa Pratishtana of Duggahatti village, Yalandur taluk, has announced special cash prizes.

One male and female farmer each will be awarded the cash prize for getting maximum yield in Paddy – Nanjangud taluk, Banana – Yalandur  taluk, Sugarcane – Kollegal taluk, Maize – Hanur taluk, Tomato – Chamarajanagar taluk and Beans and other vegetables in Gundlupet taluk.

The prizes will be distributed during Sri Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Jatra Mahotsava to be held at Suttur Srikshetra, Nanjangud taluk, during February, 2024.

Interested farmers can register their names by paying Rs. 25 at ICAR JSS Krishi Kendra or nearest Raitha Samparka Kendra / Horticulture Department office before Jan. 15, 2024.
