Mysuru: A special lecture on ‘Christianity and Development’ and Christmas Celebration have been organised at the Humanities auditorium, Manasagangothri, tomorrow (Dec.16) from 10 am to 1.30 pm, under the aegis of Chair in Christianity and the Department of Studies in Christianity, University of Mysore.
Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysore Diocese, will preside.
Prof. C. Basavaraju, acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, will be the chief guest. D. Bharathi, Registrar, University of Mysore, Most Rev. Dr. Antony Kariyil, Bishop of Mandya Diocese, Dr. Valindin Rajendra Kumar, Chairman, DoS in Christianity, Rev. Msgr. C. Rayappa, Vicar General, Diocese of Mysore and Rev. Msgr. Leslie Moras, Episcopal Vicar, Diocese of Mysore, will be the guests of honour.
A special lecture on ‘Christianity and Development’ will be delivered by Most Rev. Dr. Antony Kariyil.
