Mysuru: Special Deepavali Puja has been organised at Sri Male Mahadeshwara Temple located at Lashkar Mohalla from today (Oct. 19), on account of 19th Maha Kumbhabhisheka and 10th Karthika Masa Puja Rituals.
The rituals that commenced with the hoisting of the holy flag atop the Gopuram of the Temple today, will go on till Nov.13. Maha Kumbhabhisheka will be held on Oct. 23. Also, cultural programmes including bhajans have been organised on the occasion, according to Temple Trust President M.S. Ravi Kumar.
