‘Splendors of Deccan’: Bharat Darshan Tourist Train to chug from Dec.2

Mysuru: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Limited, the tourism wing of Ministry of Railways, will run a special tourist train ‘Splendors of Deccan’ from Dec.2.

Kishore Satya, Manager of Tourism Regional Office, Bengaluru, said that the 10-day train journey will begin from Madurai Railway Station and pass through Bengaluru (Whitefield Railway Station) and cover places like Hyderabad-Aurangabad-Ajantha-Ellora-Mumbai-Goa, inclusive of the tour package.

“The tourists will be provided meals, accommodation facilities at Dharmashala and dormitories and arrangements will be made for sightseeing,” he added.

International Tour:The IRCTC has also launched a five-day international tour package to Dubai on Jan.1, and a tour to Thailand on Jan.22.

The tour will be for five days and four nights. The tour package includes to-and-fro flight ticket in economic class, hotel accommodations for four nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner in Indian restaurants, travel insurance, shopping, visit to various places and other facilities.
