Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) has organised sports meet for journalists on June 15 and 16 at University of Mysore (UoM) Hockey Grounds here.
The sports meet will be inaugurated tomorrow at 8 am by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath. UoM Physical Education Director Krishnaiah, National Shot Put player B. Manush and Karnataka State Petrol and Diesel Dealers Association State General Secretary Ranjith Hegde will be the chief guests.
The valedictory of the sports meet will be held on June 16 at 3 pm at the same venue.
MLA L. Nagendra, UoM Physical Education Director Krishnaiah and MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaj will be the chief guests.
International Hockey player Anjali will be felicitated on the occasion.
MDJA President C.K. Mahendra will preside on both days, according to a press release.
