SPVGMC Trust thanks artistes, kalarasikas

Mysuru: SPVGMC Trust’s 65th year Heritage Music Festival, which commenced  on Sept. 14, successfully concluded yesterday (Sept. 27) with Vedic Scholars Challakere Brothers performing Rudraakshi Homa.

The President & Trustees of SPVGMC Trust, V.V. Mohalla, Mysuru, have in a press release, thanked the artistes: “First and foremost, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the distinguished artistes who have been associated with our festival and who travelled from far and wide to present their wonderful concerts. Without their valuable contribution, dedication and love for music, the success of this festival would not have been possible.”

“We would like to express our special and heartfelt thanks to all the print media who supported our festival wholeheartedly by covering the concerts and festival updates every day in their prestigious newspapers. Their continuous coverage helped us reach a much wider audience and played an important role in bringing the festival to the attention of music-lovers.”

“Our sincere gratitude also goes to the Police Department, Mysuru City Corporation, Fire Department and all the other Government Departments, officials, sponsors and personnel, who supported us directly and indirectly and helped ensure that the festival was conducted smoothly and safely.”

“We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the public of Mysuru for their cooperation, patience and understanding throughout these 14 days. It is truly an emotional and proud moment for all of us. Looking back, we realise that the successful and smooth conduct of this Heritage Music Festival would not have been possible without the collective support and co-operation of all the above-mentioned people, departments, organisations, artistes, media, patrons and, most importantly, our beloved Kalarasikas.”
