Mysuru: D. Shivaiah, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mysuru Postal Division, was accorded a grand farewell at the Office of Senior Superintendent of Post Offices in Yadavagiri here on his retirement on July 31, 2017.
A dynamic officer, who has put in a service of 39 years,10 months and 13 days, Shivaiah, had earned name and fame in all the different ranks and different places he worked.
Shivaiah’s involvement during the roll out to Core System Integration (CSI) was appreciated by the Directorate of the Department. He will be remembered for his contributions during opening of Passport Seva Kendra in Mysuru, Aadhaar Updation Service at Department of Posts and opening of a Delivery Post Office at Vijayanagar IV Stage.
Along with the staff of the Department, general public too attended the farewell function and expressed their gratitude for his service.
