Mysuru: Ayurveda Vaidya Sangha is organising Sri Dhanvantri Jayanti celebrations on Dec.25 in Government Maharaja Sanskrit College at 5 pm.
Three awards will be presented on the occasion. Dr. J.T. Pawar, District Ayush Officer, Dharwad, is the recipient of ‘Charaka Shree’ award, Dr. P.N. Mohan Kumar, Director, Vinayaka Ayurveda Health Centre, Trishur Kerala, is the recipient of ‘Sushrutha Shree’ award and Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji of Shree Sudharshana Narasimha Kshetra, Mysuru, is the recipient of ‘Dharshana Vaaridhi’ award.
Sri Subudhendra Theertha Swamiji of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Mantralayam, will grace the occasion. Vedanga Vidwan Dr. R.L. Kashyap, Hon. Director, Sakshi Trust, Bengaluru, is the chief guest and Vidwan Dr. K.M. Mahadevaiah, Principal, Government Maharaja Sanskrit College, is the guest of honour.
Dr. B. Gurubasavaraja, President, Ayurveda Vaidya Sangha, Dr. A.S. Chandrashekar, Gen. Secretary and Dr. M.G. Krishnamurthy, Hon. Secretary, will be present.
