Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club celebrates Women’s Day

Renowned musician from Wayanad, Kerala, Reji Gopinath performing at Women’s Day programme at the Sports Club premises.

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club hosted International Women’s Day celebrations, aptly titled ‘Vibrant Mysuru,’ on Mar. 9 with more than 450 audience.

The evening commenced with a captivating Heritage Sarees Fashion Show, choreographed by Suma Prakash, former Miss Karnataka.

The ladies from the Club were gracefully attired in exquisite Banaras Sarees, Kanchipuram Sarees, Kerala Kasavu, Chiffon and Mysore Silk Sarees, showcasing the rich textile tradition of India.

Adding grace to the occasion, the Management Committee felicitated Sqd. Ldr. Paridhei Singh Karthik (retd.), a former Indian Airforce Pilot, for her exceptional service to the nation.

Renowned musician from Wayanad, Kerala, Reji Gopinath and his team enthralled the audience with their soulful violin renditions, filling the atmosphere with captivating melody.

Club President M.C. Malli-karjun welcomed the gathering. Club’s Entertainment Chairman Rohit Ramdev proposed a  vote of thanks.
