Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised a grand celebration of Sri Krishna Jayanti at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar from Aug. 22.

Aug. 22 at 6 pm: Karnatak Classical Music Flute by Vidwan Heramba and Vidwan Hemanth (both flute). They will be accompanied by Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar on mridanga and Vid. Guruprasanna on kanjira.

Aug. 23 at 6 pm: Karnatak  Classical Vocal recital by Vid. Manasa Nayana accompanied by Vid. R. Achuytarao on violin, Vid. Anoor  Ananthakrishna on mridanga and Vid. Anoor Sunad on kanjira.

Aug. 24 at 5.30 pm: Felicitation to Vidu. M.S. Sheela, Senior Karnatak Classical Vocalist; Vidwan Dr. C. A. Sreedhara,  Flautist/ Musicologist and  former Principal of Maharaja College; Prof. H. S. Umesh, Senior Theatre Personality and former Principal of Sarada Vilas B. Ed College. Dr. Niranjan Vanalli, Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore University (North) will be the chief guest. Ganabharathi President H.R. Sundareshan will preside. Chief patron Dr. C.G. Narasimhan will be present.
