Sri Ramakrisna Vidyashala shuttle badminton team won the overall title in the U-17 District-level Badminton Tournament for boys organised by Department of Public Instruction in city recently.
In final, Santas of SRKVS beat Koushik of Chaitra HS 15-05, 15-09 in the first singles, while in the doubles Sohan and Santas of SRKVS beat Shashank and Koushik of Chaitra HS 15-02, 15-08.
Earlier, in semi-finals SRKVS beat St. Marys School (HD Kote) by 2-0 and Chaita HS beat Sadvidya School by 2-1.
Santas, Sohan, Samarth Bhat of Sri Ramakrisna Vidyashala and Koushik, Shashank of Chaitra High School have been selected to represent Mysore district team in forthcoming division level badminton competition to be held at Chamarajanagar.
