Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Sharada Public School, R.T. Nagar, Mysuru, organised the Inter-High School Kannada and English Debate competition on Nov.20 in memory of its Founder-Chairman, late S. Ramanathan.
N. R. Ashok, Chief Consultant, Ace Technologies, who was the chief guest, emphasised that competitions play a vital role in developing confidence, clarity of thought and communication skills among students.
Kannada Debate
1st place: Poorna Chethana Public School; 2nd: Manasarowar Pushkarini Vidyashrama; 3rd: Mahajana Public School.
Overall Rolling Trophy was won by Poorna Chethana Public School.
English Debate
1st place: Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala; 2nd: Manasarowar Pushkarini Vidyashrama; 3rd : Mysore International School.
Overall Rolling Trophy was awarded to Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala.
Eminent academicians served as judges for the competition in which a total of 21 schools participated.
