Mysuru: Avadhoota Sri Vinay Guruji has adopted various animals of Mysuru Zoo for a period of one year. Guruji has adopted one Tiger, one King Cobra, one Indian Leopard and a Black Panther by paying the annual adoption fee of Rs. 3,05,000 on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti. The adoption is valid from Apr. 14, 2022 to Apr. 13, 2023.

Sri Vinay Guruji also distributed grocery kits to 350 employees of the Zoo on the occasion.  Zoo Authority of Karnataka (ZAK) Chairman L.R. Mahadevaswamy handed over the adoption certificate to Vinay Guruji. ZAK members  Jyothi Rechanna and Gokul Govardhan, MUDA Member Lakshmidevi, Zoo Executive Director Ajit M. Kulakarni and others were present.

Green Anaconda adopted

Anindya Jana of Kolkata has adopted a Green Anaconda snake by paying the adoption fee of Rs. 20,000 for the period Apr. 8, 2022 to Apr. 7, 2023.
