SSLC exam: Migrant students can select centre of their choice

Mysore/Mysuru: With the KSEEB (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) announcing the time-table for the SSLC Exams 2019-20, the Board Director V. Sumangala has directed all school Head Masters to register any changes in the choice of centre by students, in the Board website before May 25.

As children of migrant workers who have returned to their native place following the COVID-19 lockdown cannot come back and write the exams at the centres already mentioned in their Hall tickets, the Government has given a choice for such students to select the centre that is nearest to the place of their current stay. Also students staying in Hostels and Ashram schools have vacated after the buildings were turned into quarantine facilities. These students too have been given the opportunity to choose their centre, which is closest to their place of stay. The School Head Masters have been asked to contact such students and get confirmation on the new centres they have chosen and mention the same in the Board website [kseeb.kar.nic.in] before May 25.
