SSLC exams from Mar. 30

39,323 students to appear in 134 centres across the district

After conducting this year’s II PUC examinations successfully, the District Administration and the Department of Public Instructions have geared up to conduct the SSLC examinations commencing from Mar. 30.

The Department of Public Instructions has made all arrangements for smooth conduct of the exam. A total of 134 examination centres have been established in the district for a total of 39,323 students (Boys – 19,831 and Girls – 19,492) appearing for the examination.

The Department has also appointed 134 chief invigilators, 44 deputy chief invigilators and 134 question paper custodians.

The District Administration has banned the usage of mobile phones at the examination centres. This apart, Section 144 under Cr.PC has been clamped around 200 mts radius of the examination centres. The authorities have also ordered for the closure of photocopy shops located near the exam centres.

DC D. Randeep has warned of strict action against those indulging in malpractices.

Both City and District Police will provide security at the examination centres.

The examination will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the students have been instructed to be present at the examination hall by 9.15 am.

(Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Marati, Tamil, Urdu, English, Sanskrit)

Apr.1 : Core Subjects

Elements of Engineering 9.30 am to 12.15 pm

Engineering Drawing 2 pm to 5.15 pm

Elements of Electronics Engineering 9.30 am to 12.45 pm

Elements of Computer Science 9.30 am to 12.45 pm

Apr. 3 : Mathematics 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Apr. 5 : Second Language (English/Kannada) 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Apr. 7 : Science 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Apr. 10 : Third language 9.30 am to 12 noon

(Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, Persian,  Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, Tulu)

Apr. 12 : Social Science 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
