SSLC toppers to get Rs. 50,000 instead of laptops

Mysore/Mysuru:  Students of Government Schools in the taluk and district, who top in SSLC exam will now be given Rs. 50,000 instead of laptops.

Instruction has been given by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) to deposit the amount to the Aadhaar-seeded Bank accounts of three toppers of taluk and district Government Schools.

Earlier, laptops were being given to three SSLC toppers  but the order has been issued to provide Rs. 50,000 to them from  the academic year 2024-25 and the toppers will be felicitated during Republic Day celebration.
