Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore English Theatre Forum (METF) will be staging the play ‘Love Letters’ authored by A.G. Gurney on Aug. 24 at Jagannatha Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC) at Vijayanagar in city at 6.30 pm. The play is directed by Dr. Krishna Prasad and entry is free.

About the play

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, ‘Love Letters’ traces the lifelong, complex relationship between Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III through a series of letters exchanged over decades. It is a play built entirely on the power of words, silences and what lies between the lines.

The play was earlier staged at Kalasuruchi (Kuvempunagar), Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (Hardwicke School premises) and Kalpakshetra (Vijayanagar).
