Nikhil S Atchgal, a 10th standard student at Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, representing Mysuru District in the State-level U-17 Athletic Meet conducted by the Department of Education, won the gold in the 1500 mts event in Belgaum yesterday. Nikhil won the 1500 mts gold with a timing of 4:19.00 sec and earned selection to represent the State in the national level athletic meet.
