The State BJP Core Committee meeting will take place at New Delhi this evening to discuss a host of political issues including entry of former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna and prominent leaders from other political parties to the BJP.

It may be mentioned here that BJP National President Amit Shah on Monday had summoned State BJP leaders to be present in the National Capital this evening to discuss party organisational and bypoll issues. Following instructions from Shah, State BJP leaders including B.S. Yeddyurappa, K.S. Eshwarappa, Jagadish Shettar, R. Ashok and others left for New Delhi today. Meanwhile, senior leader Krishna, who is all set to join the BJP in the presence of Amit Shah in New Delhi tomorrow, too left for the National Capital this morning.
