Bengaluru: With polls nearing, State JD(S) President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy will be holding an interaction with senior citizens in the State capital tomorrow.
Kumaraswamy, who is setting out on a tour of North Karnataka from Jan. 5, will be interacting with elders at Jnanajyoti Auditorium here at a programme jointly organised by Mahalakshmi Education Trust and JD(S) Bengaluru City Unit, according to Bengaluru City JD(S) President R. Prakash. The interaction is aimed at getting feedback from elderly citizens on their plight and problems.
It may be mentioned that the JD(S) has promised a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000 to senior citizens aged above 60 years and Rs. 5,000 to those aged over 70 years, if elected to power in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
