A four-day State-level athletics meet for PU College students (both boys and girls) organised by Department of Pre-University Education and Vijaya Vittala PU College will held from Nov. 23 to 26 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad here.

Higher Education Minister G.T. Devegowda will inaugurate the sports meet on Nov.23 at 4 pm. Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh will receive the sports torch. MLA Tanveer Sait will preside. National Athletics Champion Reena George will be felicitated. MPs Pratap Simha, R. Dhruvanarayan and L.R. Shivaramegowda,  MLAs A.H. Vishwanath, S. A. Ramdas, L. Nagendra, K. Mahadev, Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, B. Harshavardhan, Anil Chikkamadu, Ashwinkumar, MLCs Marithibbegowda, K.T. Srikantegowda, S. Nagaraj, K.V. Narayanaswamy, R. Dharmasena, Vijaya Vittala Institutions President R. Guru and others will be the chief guests.

The valedictory will held on Nov. 26 at 3.30 pm.  DDPUE  Dr.Dayananda will preside. State Government Employees Association President H.K. Ramu will distribute prizes to winners.
