Mysuru: Marking its 40th-year celebrations, city’s Vidyavardhaka First Grade College on Seshadri Iyer Road here, in association with the Department of Tourism, will be holding a two-day State-level Conference on ‘Heritage and Health Tourism in Karnataka’ at its premises on Mar.13 and 14.
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, College Principal Dr. S. Marigowda said Tourism Minister S.R. Mahesh will inaugurate the event at 9 am on Mar.13. Former IAS Officer I.M. Vittal Murthy will deliver the keynote address. Vidyavardhaka Sangha President Gundappa Gowda will preside, he said.
Continuing, Marigowda said the two-day event will have technical sessions, to be addressed by resources persons.
The valedictory of the Conference will take place at 4 pm on Mar.14. APCCF and Zoo Authority of Karnataka Member-Secretary B.P. Ravi will deliver the valedictory address, he said and added that the sessions will be held under different themes.
