Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Football Club, Gandhinagar, as part of 128th Jayanti of Dr. Ambedkar, has organised a State-level football tournament from Jan. 25 to 27 at Siddartha High School Grounds in Gandhinagar here.

The tournament will be inaugurated by DCP N. Vishnuvardhana at 10 am tomorrow. MP R. Dhruvanarayan will unveil the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar. Sri Jnanaprakash Swamiji of Urilinga Peddi Mutt, Mysore University Physical Education Director Dr. Krishnaiah, NR Inspector Basavaraju and others will be present.

A total of 36 teams will participate. The valedictory function will be held on Jan. 27. MLA S.A. Ramdas will distribute prizes. The winning team will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000, runners up team will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.
