The second State-level Shuttle Badminton tournament of KSRTC, organised under the aegis of Mysuru’s KSRTC Geleyara Balaga, will be held at Samruddhi Sports Academy, Bank  Colony, Bogadi, on Aug. 1. Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda will inaugurate the tournament, while MLC Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah will preside.

The valedictory will take place later in the evening on the same day, during which K.R. MLA T.S. Srivatsa will distribute prizes to the winners of the tournament. More than 25 teams from the districts of Mysuru, Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Ballari, Haveri, Chikkamagalur, Shivamogga, Hassan and other places will be taking part in the one-day tournament, according to a press release.
