Mysuru: Karnataka State Roller Skating Association will be organising a State-level Roller Skating Championship at Rao Roller Skating Academy at Unnathinagar in city from Dec. 5 to 15.

Speaking to the media persons at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Association General Secretary Indudhara Seetharam said that a total of 1,500 roller skaters from 28 States and eight Union Territories will be taking part in the Championship including Andaman and Nicobar, Mizoram among others. “The Championship will be inaugurated by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Dec. 8 at 5 pm. MLAs T.S. Srivatsa and Tanveer Sait and others will be present,” he said.

Aditya S. Rao, Francis, Jayakumar and others were present at the press meet.
