The Mysuru City Unit of Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat, in association with JSS College for Women, will be organising a State-level seminar on ‘Vachana Sahitya – Contemporary Distress’ at Navajyothi auditorium of JSS College for Women in Saraswathipuram here at 10.30 am on Mar. 27. Announcing this at a press meet here recently, Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat Mysuru Unit President M.G. Sadanandaiah said that Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Parishat President Dr. C. Somashekar will inaugurate the seminar while veteran littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) will preside, he said adding that the seminar will be addressed by eminent personalities.

Noted orator and humorist Prof. M. Krishnegowda will deliver the valedictory address later in the evening. The event will also feature ‘Vachanataranga’, a painting expo by noted artist-cum-sculptor L. Shivalingappa, he added.
